Shawano Girls Hoops

2nd Grade- Foundational Skills and Introduction to basketball

3rd through 8th grade who attend Shawano School District, St. James School, or Sacred Heart School.

Girls will start practicing end of October and go through January.

Some older grades, may play into February 

Practice locations and schedules will be communicated by coaches throughout the season and may vary based on gym availability.

2nd Grade-Focus on skills development

Saturdays in January 16th, 23rd February 6th, 13th from 10:30am-11:45am at Hillcrest

3rd-8th grade teams practice 2-3 times per week.

Most teams will play 2-3 weekends per month, with games typically scheduled on Saturdays. Teams may play up to 3 games during a weekend, depending on the schedule. Please note that game schedules are subject to change. All coaches will receive the official schedule and share it with their teams as soon as it becomes available.

Game and Practice jerseys will be provided by the program and must be returned to the coach at the end of the season.

Athletes will also receive a shooting shirt that is theirs to keep.

2nd Grade- No fee

3rd-8th Grade $100

Volunteer Fee: $100 per athlete. A credit card will be charged at the end of the season if volunteer requirements are not met.

Required Volunteer Commitment:

• Work one game-day shift at the clock or scorebook during the season.
• Work one 3-hour shift at the Shawano Girls Home Tournament.

There may be additional tournament entry fees for families, depending on the tournament. These fees are set by the tournament host and are not included in the registration fee.
